Student Accommodation

We are pleased to offer special accommodation options for our student attendees at Royal Victoria College, bordering McGill's downtown campus. This facility offers traditional dormitory-style accommodations (featuring private guest rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities). Royal Victoria College is located downtown directly across from McGill's campus and just a few steps away from the well-known Sainte-Catherine Street, lined with great shops and restaurants.

To benefit from this special offer, room reservations must be made by 1 April, 2024.

RATE

Single rooms CA$75.00+taxes, per night.

TAXES

All guest room rates are subject to GST and PST rates in effect at the time of the event. Presently, such taxes are 5% GST, 9.975% and 3.5% LODGING TAX.

RESERVATION PROCEDURES

Reservations will be made by individuals contacting the reservation line directly and referring to the group name for CogSIMA conference - folio #159989.

McGill University-Accommodations and Conference Services agree to hold the full block of guestrooms until April 1, 2024. Guests will be individually responsible for payment of their room, taxes, and incidental charges.

As mentioned previously, each guest is responsible for his or her own payment on arrival. When making the reservation the guest must provide a valid Visa, MasterCard or AMEX number to guarantee and hold their reservation. If the room is not claimed prior to noon on the day following the first night reserved, a no show charge of one night's stay will be levied by the loss of the deposit or a charge to the credit card number on file.

Individual payment accepted includes Cash, Interac, Traveler Cheques, Visa, MasterCard and American Express only.
Check in time is 3 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am.
Please note that an early departure fee will be applied for any delegate leaving early without notice prior to 12:00 pm (noon) 2 days prior to the arrival date.

Individual cancellations must be made in writing or by calling 514-398-5200 by 12:00 pm (noon) 2 days prior to arrival, otherwise a charge equal to the first night stay plus tax will be charged to the credit card on file.

McGill University - Accommodations and Conference Services reserves the right to accommodate room block delegates in any of our residence halls.
