Accommodation

CogSIMA 2024 attendees are offered a special group rate for booking Standard Studio rooms at HÔTEL LE CANTLIE SUITES, which is located at the foot of Mount Royal in the bustling, vibrant Golden Square Mile and conveniently in close proximity to the conference venue at the McGill University campus. To benefit from this special offer, room reservations must be made by 8 April, 2024.

Please note that a limited number of rooms is available.

ROOM AVAILABILITY

Rooms can be booked for the period of May 6 - May 9, 2024. (check-out on May 10)

RATE

single/double occupancy: CA$189.00 per room, per night.
Extra person: CA$30.00 per person, per night.
Children 14 and under: No additional charge
American Breakfast Buffet: CA$24.50 + taxes + 15% service
***Maximum 4 adults per room.

TAXES

A 5% federal tax and 9.975% provincial tax are applicable on room rates, food and beverage as well as on most services provided by HÔTEL LE CANTLIE SUITES. A lodging tax of 3.5% per room, per night, is applicable on the room rate. Both the GST and the PST are applicable on this amount. All taxes are subject to change without notice.

Individual reservation requests may be made via phone or e-mail:

In order to benefit from the preferred contracted rates, callers must identify their affiliation with the CogSIMA conference. Rates cannot be changed at check-in or check-out time for guests who fail to identify their affiliation at the time of booking.

The deadline for individual reservations is April 8, 2024. After that date, any rooms remaining in this block will be released. Reservation requests received after the deadline will be accepted on a space available and rate available basis only.

All individual reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card. Guaranteed reservations will be held all night for the first day of arrival. If a guaranteed room is not used, payment for the full rate on that room plus tax will be charged to the applicable credit card. Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival will result in the rate for one night plus tax being charged to the applicable credit card.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Check-in time for all guests is 4:00 pm. Guests may be checked in earlier depending on the occupancy of the hotel and the availability of clean rooms.

Check-out time is 12:00 noon. Any room not vacated by this time will be assessed a half-day late check- out charge until 6:00 pm, after which a full day's charge will be applied.

Rate: $30.44/day + taxes - FREE in and out privileges
