Registration on the website

Please go to http://edas.info/r17535 and log on to the EDAS website from where you can directly pay the registration fee. For enquiries or assistance, please contact Tersia Tegman.

Maximum number of papers

The maximum number of papers a paying author may submit is two. Between two paying authors, four papers may be submitted. One author may submit four papers but then needs to pay +50% of the registration fee.

Who must pay the registration fee?

Every delegate attending the conference must pay the conference fee (a student must pay the student fee, a retired academic must pay the retired academic fee and the rest must pay the fee for delegates).

For every paper that is accepted and published in the conference proceedings, at least one of the authors must pay the fee and present the paper in person at the conference.

Early payment (before or on 15 February 2015)

Delegate: R8 500
Student: R6 000
Retired academic: R7 500
Accompanying person: R1 500

Registration (after 15 February 2015 and not later than 15 March 2015)

Delegate: R9 500
Student: R7 000
Retired academic: R9 000
Accompanying person: R1 500

Registration fee includes:

  • Welcome pack (delegate badge and accreditation, programme, and conference proceedings on a USB). Take note, the programme, abstracts and proceedings will be available only electronically. Nothing will be on paper.
  • Tea/Coffee breaks
  • Light lunch
  • Welcome
  • Awards ceremony, conference banquet and game drive (night)

Registration fee for accompanying persona includes:

  • Welcome function
  • Awards ceremony, conference banquet and game drive (night)

Welcome function (Sunday, 10 May 2015, 18:00-19:00)

Awards ceremony and conference banquet (Wednesday, 13 May 2015, 19:00-22:00)

Certificate awards will be given to the best paper of every session. Night game drive as part of the conference banquet.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Registration fee

Any cancellation received will be subject to the following refund policy:

  • 75% of the amount paid if written cancellation is received prior to 28 February 2015
  • no refund if written cancellation is received after 28 February 2015

Skukuza accommodation

  • 25% cancellation fee for any cancellation prior to 09 March 2015
  • 50% cancellation fee if cancelled between 10 March and 26 March 2015
  • no refund if cancelled after 26 March 2015
