Hotel
The conference hotel is the Le Meridien Hotel and is located 17 km from the capital city of Port Louis and one hour’s drive from the main international airport. Spread over 700 metres of sandy coastline the hotel is located on the northwest coast of the island of Mauritius. The resort offers 265 rooms, with views over the mountainous interior of the island, or of the warm turquoise of the Indian Ocean.
Five restaurants and bars allow you to explore a blend of indigenous and international flavours. The ballroom, one of the largest on the island has a capacity of up to 500 persons, and can be divided into separate spaces for smaller meeting and conferences.
For contemplation and relaxation, the resort has two swimming pools, steam and sauna, a gym and a Taamra Health Spa with private treatment rooms.
All rooms and suites come equipped with individual air conditioning, celing fan, mini-bar, IDD telephone, 32” wall mounted LCD satellite television, in room safe, large bathroom, with separate shower and tea and coffee making facilities.
