Welcome from the Technical Program Chairs

Welcome to the 18th edition of the IEEE International Conference on RFID!

This year, 28 papers, 2 keynotes, and 11 posters will be presented to an international audience of knowledge leaders hosted participants in Boston, MA, USA, June 4th to 6th, 2024. The combination of new ideas and technical results brought by authors, workshop organizers and speakers are a clear indication, once more, of the evolving nature of the RFID technology and its multidisciplinary applications. This year we are happy to report multiple submissions across all tracks, with Sensors and Next Gen RFID bringing the most submissions (7 each).

The IEEE International Conference on RFID can boast the contribution of 50esteemed Technical Program Committee Members directly involved in all the fields characterizing RFID technology. We extend our most sincere gratitude to all of them. Their hidden and underappreciated effort behind the scenes is an essential component of this event. Every submitted paper has been reviewed by three members of the Technical Program Committee which is an essential element towards ensuring the high technical standards of the event are maintained. This rigorous review process also provides invaluable feedback to the authors upon which to enrich and improve their research and inform future ideas, expanding the RFID knowledge base across our international community.

Finally, thank you to all our authors, workshop organizers, speakers, TPC co-chairs, TPC and Organizing Committee members and patrons. Your combined time, effort and patience has made this event possible. To all our attendees, welcome to the IEEE RFID 2024 International Conference on RFID!
