Message from the President, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology

It is my great pleasure and delight to welcome you to the International Conference on Green and Human Information Technology (ICGHIT) 2014 organized by Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) in partnership with The Institute of Electronics Engineers of Korea now called The Institute of Electronics and Information Engineering (IEIE).

It is honor to have with us this international conference: 300 scientists from 9 different countries (Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, P.R. China, Taiwan, Thailand, France, the USA) and many other people who travelled huge distances to be with us and we really appreciate your time and effort to come.

As you know, the goal of ICGHIT is to form a platform to seek the advancement of green technology and human related IT in various viewpoints of research. The main topics of the conference are Green Information Technology, Communication and Ubiquitous, Multimedia and Signal Processing, Control and Intelligent System as well. In this conference, there will be 104 high quality research papers, which consist of 57 oral papers and 49 poster papers, accepted for publication. And I strongly believe that their latest significant findings and developments in all the major fields of Green and Human Information Technology will be recognized not only by our Chairs and Committee but also by the human society for the advancements they can contribute. Because I think all of us here believe in the close relationship between green technology and human IT; subsequently their ability to produce a synergy to enhance human welfare and humanity in present and future technological society.

Therefore, I hope that the conference will provide a good chance for you to exchange ideas and experiences together and there will be more cooperation and collaborations from this event.

So, thank you very much for those people who have generous efforts to prepare for the conference during 4 months and thanks for those people submitting their papers and delivering their speeches, reports to the conference and I can’t forget to express my sincere thanks to the sponsors who have made their great contribution to ICGHIT 2014.
