Monday, June 2
Monday, June 2 9:10 - 9:30
O1: Opening
Monday, June 2 9:30 - 10:30
K1: Keynote 1
As intelligent transportation systems-including vehicles, bicycles, pedestrians, infrastructure, and cloud platforms-become increasingly integrated, future applications will depend on trusted, context-aware information delivered under strict timing and bandwidth constraints. In this context, V2X systems are evolving beyond best-effort messaging toward dependable services that enable critical driving interventions. This keynote explores how Day 2+ V2X applications and services-such as sensor sharing, infrastructure-assisted automated vehicle marshalling and connected AEB-are transitioning from prototypes to real-world deployment. It will further outline key emerging research challenges and opportunities, including hybrid sensing architectures, quality-aware resource management, perception-level fusion, and safety validation in distributed systems. An outlook on standardization efforts and deployment roadmaps will round off the discussion.
