After an enthusiastic response to the seven past HEFAT conferences held in 2002 (Kruger National Park, South Africa), 2003 (Victoria Falls, Zambia), 2004 (Cape Town, South Africa), 2005 (Cairo, Egypt), 2007 (Sun City, South Africa), 2008 (Pretoria, South Africa), and 2010 (Antalya, Turkey), we are pleased to announce that the 8th International Conference on Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer will be held in Mauritius, from 11 to 13 July 2011. The focus of this conference is to provide a forum for specialists in heat transfer, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics from all corners of the globe to present the latest progress and developments in the field. This will not only allow the dissemination of the state of the art, but it will serve as a catalyst for discussions on future directions and priorities in the areas of heat transfer, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics. The additional purpose of this conference is to initiate collaboration in research.
