Welcome you to the workshop on Quantum Communications and Information Technology (QCIT'20) at IEEE GlobeCom 2020 in Taipeh, Taiwan. This sixth workshop organized by ComSoc's emerging technical committee on quantum communications and information technology brings together researchers and engineers from all over the world to discuss the latest advances in communications and information related quantum technology.

The technical program of QCIT'20 consists of a keynote and two paper presentation sessions.

QCIT'20 received 14 paper submissions from 12 countries, out of which 6 papers have been accepted - corresponding to an acceptance rate of 40%. All papers have undergone a rigorous review process - every manuscript was reviewed by at least 3 experts.

We would like to especially thank the members of the technical program committee and the external reviewers for their dedication. Without their help, this sixth workshop on QCIT would not be possible. We would also like to thank the keynote speaker for contributing this important part of the program. Last, but not least, our sincere thanks to the workshop chairs, Yao-Win Peter Hong, Petar Popovski and Rath Vannithamby, and the technical program chair, Li-Chun Wang, for their strong support and continuous help.
