On behalf of the 2025 8th ICOIACT, I would like to express my gratitude to all plenary speakers, all of the TPC members, the IEEE Indonesia section, and happy participants. We extend special greetings to the Silvanus team from Europe, who are willing to come to Yogyakarta.

The ICOIACT is one initiative to provide the research community with an event to share their work and open a wider international network between academia and industrial researchers. This conference has been organized since 2018 and today we are proud to welcome all participants in the 2025 8th ICOIACT. Under the theme of the conference "Enhancing Global Sustainability and Resilience with AI Applications".

The 2025 8th ICOIACT has received 267 submissions and accepts only 70 papers after rigorous reviews with a 26,21% acceptance rate. The accepted papers came from 19 countries, namely: China, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea (South), Lebanon, Malaysia, Philippines, Russia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, The Netherlands, and Indonesia.

Therefore, I would like to congratulate all selected papers, based on double-blind reviews. I would also take this opportunity to suggest all authors' rejected papers to address reviewers comment to improve their papers and resubmit to another academic conference. The ICOIACT committees maintains conference quality in every year conference series, the acceptance rate is recorded from the 1st to the 8th conference respectively.

Since its inception, ICOIACT has always been held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Last year, ICOIACT 2024 was held at JAIST Ishikawa, Japan. This year, it will return to Yogyakarta in 2025. Next year, ICOIACT 2026 will be held in Tokyo, Japan.

Once again, congratulations to all the authors, we really hope everyone enjoyed the conference and found the discussions and collaborations fruitful.
