Tallinn

For the first time in its history, CogSIMA will take place in Europe, in one of its old, vibrant, and charming cities: Tallinn, the capital of Estonia!

Tallinn is an amazing blend of old and new. The world-famous Old Town was largely constructed between the 13th and 16th centuries and is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. World-class yet affordable restaurants are tucked away on its winding cobblestone streets. Also worth exploring is the up-and-coming Kalamaja district, boasting a truly bohemian atmosphere and the Telliskivi Creative City. All of Tallinn’s neighbourhoods, each with its own personality, can be quickly and easily reached on foot or by inexpensive transport.

Travel Info

The city’s international airport, Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport, provides excellent facilities and a wide variety of services. Its convenient location – just 4 km from the city centre – means transport to most destinations takes surprisingly little time. Please, visit the Tallinn Tourist Information Center website for further information: https://www.visittallinn.ee/eng/

Visa Information

Do not delay in making VISA arrangements for entry to Estonia if needed. Such arrangements are the responsibility of attendees and other participants and may require some considerable processing time.
